Mom treated us girls to lunch.
Mom & Marlene attended the orchestra senior night with me & the kids. We were expecting to hear Heidi play. There was a miscommunication and it turned out she was just part of the orchestra that accompanied a senior's solo for the last 2 songs. But it was informative to see what senior night is. And the base player was incredible! I've never a base solo, let alone one so impressive.
Later we all worked on the backyard weeding and putting down sand (turf comes tomorrow- eek!) while Pat continued putting our broken trailer back together. It was rough at first: lots of contention, fighting, etc (just really unkind stuff I'm embarrassed to have neighbors hear 😔). But by 10:20pm, Grant & Heidi were getting along better. Perhaps it helped that the littles had gone to sleep 🤷🏻♀️. Then we all watched an episode of Stranger Things.
